MRI sequences used for DSC

SD-FLASH

SD-FLASH (simultaneous dual fast low angle shot) was used for monitoring two slices paralelly. Imaging described in [1] was performed using a Siemens Magnetom Vision 1.5T MR scanner. First slice was placed to monitor artery carotid and second to monitor ROI. The tissue within ROI was excited first and readout last, the artery slice was excited last readout first. The location of carotid slice was selected from a set of neighbouring slices. These dataset was obtained by a flow-sensitive SD-FLASH (TE=6 ms, FA=40°, next parameters was the same as in table below) [1].
